Asset Movements {AOPS-2}

Whilst most of the movements of assets will be recorded by the barcode reader during asset surveys and entered into this table, it is possible to record the movement of an asset manually. When the asset number is entered, the present position of the asset will be displayed in building/floor/room number sequence. The asset type of the asset is also displayed. The user merely has to indicate the new position. The date of the move will default to the date when the change was entered, but the user may change this date. Should the user wish to change the departmental allocation of the asset, this can be done in Block 2, and an update of the GLA in Block 3.
