Access Times  {CACC-3}


The access times, as used for different buildings and security areas, and for different user categories,  must be defined. These time codes will be used for an area and a user.  For example, if first year students and senior students have different times for a hostel, two time codes will be created for them.

Fields in the option:

Description
Time Code  N2  Enter the  time code to identify the access time.  Valid codes that can be used are 0 up to 99.
Description A30 Description of the time code.
Open Time N4 The time the area may be entered.
Close Time N4 The time the area will be closed to entering.
Default User A1 Enter the user type for which this time must be a default when auto-generation is done. User access data can be generated automatically when the following is done:
  • A student is registered for a qualification
  • A personnel member is appointed
  • Another user is created
The default time per user, as indicated in this field will then be generated into {CACO-1} TAB - Access Control - User Information: Time Information.
