Update Accommodation Allowances {FBNM-4}
This option allows for the electromic
update of the accommodation allowances on an annual basis.
The user needs to obtain the new
accommodation allowances file
from NSFAS. By running this option, using the new file, the
area code
records will be updated according to the new file received form
NSFAS. The file from
NSFAS needs to be on the ../fin directory when this option is
run. NSFAS defined different accommodation allowances per
institution to be
used in the means test for students who stay at a place not for the
institutions account.
There are four categories per institution.
1. Staying in self catering residence
2. Staying at home
3. From out of town staying on campus
4. From institution town not staying on campus
This table is not accessible by the user.
