REVERSAL OF JOURNALS {FGLO-4}


This option uses the information of journals already processed in the GL system and reverses it according to the parameters specified.

This option is not sensitive to the SOD codes, GC,GH or GY or user restriction FGLC and the program will reverse a journal even though a user may be restricted to a GLA or amount or both on the journal.

   The program selects GL journals to reverse where:

  • The original GL journal transaction type is equal to the transaction type entered as input parameter.
  • The original GL journal number is in the range of journal numbers entered as input parameter.
  • The original GL journals process date fall within the date range entered as input parameter.
  • If "Reverse Using Reference" is selected, the program will select journals in the range of journals where the reference matches the input reference.
  • The original GL journal financial year is equal to the year entered as input parameter.
  • The original GL journal financial cycle is equal to the cycle entered as input parameter.
  • The user running the program equal to the original GL journal user who created the journal.
The year into which a the reversal journals may be create must be equal to the GL year as per {FCSM-2} or equal or less than GL year +1.
