In this option, the institution can create note categories that will be used in different areas in the ITS back office system.
Category codes starting with 'Z', are system generated and users will not be able to create, delete or update 'Z' codes. Currently there are two system generated note categories specified in the ITS system. 'ZFIN' used to generate notes when transactions are rejected and 'ZPDN' which is the category that must be used when notes are created that must print on the Student Debtor statements and Accounts Receivable Debtor statements. Only notes linked to the category 'ZPDN' will print on statements. This category cannot be restricted in {FCSM-4}.
