This option is used to define
Prescriptions and: their classification, whether they are obtainable Internally or
Externally, the units of issue, as well as the usage or application.

Prescription Code | A6 | A unique code used to identify the prescription. |
Prescription Name | A30 | Enter the description of the prescription. |
Short Name | A10 | The first ten characters of the description will default into this field, but this can be updated by the user |
Classification Code | A4 | The prescription classification code, as defined in above must be entered. |
Internal/External Issue | A1 | An indication as to whether the prescription is issued (I)nternally or (E)xternally must be entered. |
Issue Unit | A2 | The issue unit code will be defined in {FPMC-9} The >LIST< command can be used to obtain valid units of issue. |
Quantity | N3 | The quantity of the issue unit will default. |
Frequency | A7 | Enter the frequency at which the prescription must be taken. |
Int/Ext/Parental Code | A7 | Enter the code used to indicate how the medication should be applied by the patient. |
Dosage | A8 | Enter the dosage for the prescription. |
