Consolidate Duplicate Authority Records {LCAM-3}


With this option, duplicate authority records can be consolidated.


Fields in the option:

Block 1:  Consolidate Authority Record - Entry to Consolidate

The screen looks and operates the same as the standard authority screens.


Field Type

Length		 Description
Tag N3 The required Tag is entered.
Subf A1 The required Subfield is entered 
Contents A250 The required Contents are entered and the data pertaining to the criteria will display in Block 2 when a query is <EXECUTED>.
Link A1 When “Y”es is entered in the “Link” field next to a selected record, this record will be marked as the consolidation entry.

Block 2:  Consolidate Authority Record - Entry to Delete
