Delete Parameter Sets (and Budgets)   {MSBMT-1}

This option allows the deletion of budgets for given years, and also the deletion of unwanted or redundant parameter sets.

• When the option is executed, the user must supply the parameter set.  The system then requests a budget year for which the data must be deleted.
• If <RETURN> is pressed without entering a year, the system interprets this as an instruction to delete ALL budget calculations performed for this parameter set, AS WELL AS the parameter set itself.
• If a specific year is supplied in the format “YYYY”, the system will delete a budget calculated for this parameter set / year combination if found.  It then checks whether any other calculations for this parameter set exist.  If such calculations are found, the job finishes, or else the parameter set is deleted.
• If budget results have been posted to the General Ledger for a parameter set that is to be deleted, it is recommended that the details of the set first be printed using option {MSBOPR-25} to be retained as a permanent record.
