Placement of Advert Platforms Code Structure {PERC-7}


This menu option is used to create and maintain the platform on which an institution allows to be used to place advertisements for Post {PACS-4} vacancies.


Advertisement Platforms are not restricted to only external media types as they may also be placed on the institution's portal.

Type: DROPDOWN Select platform type:
  • Local - Refers to newspapers published in a specific geographical area. Examples are Natal Witness - (Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal)
    Northern Review - (Limpopo) and Pretoria News - (Pretoria, Gauteng).
  • National - Refers to newspapers distributed nationally, such as the Sunday Times, Soccer Laduma, Sondag and Vuk'uzenzele.
  • Other - All other media types may be defined in the category, i.e. Online Newspapers, Broadcast Media (TV, Radio), Outdoor or Out of Home Media and the Internet.
Code A4 A unique Advert platform Code. (Mandatory).
Description A80 The description of the Advertisement Platform Code. (Mandatory).
Inactive Date DD-MON-YYYY The date inserted in this field is the date from which the Advertisement may not be used.
