Municipality Codes {POFO-2}

When submitting the OFO submissions, the ETDP SETA requires Municipality Codes, Municipal Demarcation and Province information included. This assists with the skills audit to establish the deployment of resources.

The Municipality Code is used in Space Codes {SPCS-1}, Campus Information panel so the geographic placement is submitted.

NOTE: If there is a need to update this menu option, users should take care in entering the correct information.

Search Panel

The user is able to search by Municipality Name or by Province to ensure the municipality they seek has been defined.

Maintain Municipality Codes Panel

The required fields are:

Field	Type & Length	Description
Municipality Code	N5	The official code allocated to a Municipality should be entered in this field.
Municipality Name	A50	The Municipality Name matching the Municipality Code must be entered in this field
Demarcation Board	A15	The Municipal Demarcation Board code should be entered into this field (These represent the boundaries of South African districts, municipalities and electoral wards within those municipalities).
Province	DROPDOWN	Using the Dropdown to select the Province in which the institution is located.
Inactive Date	D11	(DD-MON-YYYY). This is the day on the Municipality Code becomes inactive.
