This program is used to define the create or end rules for linking statuses to students.

Create or EndA1Enter the action that must be taken.

Enter a 'C' if the involved status must be created when the status code is linked to the student

Enter an 'E' if the involved status must be ended when the status code is linked to the student.
  • If the involved status code is linked to the system 'F', the involved status code record will be deleted
  • If the involved status code is not linked to the system 'F', the involved status code record will be updated with the end date = System Date.
In this example:
  • When the status code BER is linked to a student, the involved status code BBB will be ended. 
    • Because BBB is linked to system 'F', the BBB record will be deleted
  • When the status code ADM is linked to a student, the involved status code STUD will be linked to the student. 
    • If the involved status is already linked to the student, the end date will be updated to NULL.
