Financial Student Type Codes {SCODE3-5}

The Financial Student Type is used to determine the type of fee for which the student is responsible when she / he registers. Fees can be set up in the Student Debtor Sub-System per student type. This allows an institution to raise different fees for foreign students as opposed to local (normal) students.

Fields in this option:

Block 1: Student Types

Field	Type & Length	Description
Type	A2	The Type of student that must be identified. A code is supplied with the system to identify “Normal” (i.e. local) students. This code may not be deleted or changed on the system.
Type Description	A30	The Description for the Type of student.
Include for Debt Collection	A1
