Study Guide - Packages Item Components

The screen allows the user to view the composition of a package item and the availability of the individual components of a package as per package item definition.

The screen does not display content of a package issued to a student as the definition of a package might have changed since the package was issued to a student.

Fields in the option:
Block 1:

Block 1 displays the enrolment information of a study guide pacakge item from which the user drilled down from.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Student	N9	The student number of the package item record from which the screen was called.
Qualification	A6	The qualification code of the package item record from which the screen was called.
Subject	A7	The subjcet code of the of the package item record from which the screen was called if the records relates to a subject.
Year	N4	The start Academic year of the package item study guide record from which the screen was called.
Block	A2	The block code of the package item study from which the screen was called.
Study Period	A2	The study period of the of of the package item record from which the screen was called.
Offering Type	A2	The offering type of the of the package item record from which the screen was called.
Student Type	A2	The student type of the package item record from which the screen was called.
Pacakge Item	N8	The item code of the package as defined in the pacakge definition {FPMM-24}.
Store Code	A2	The store code of the package item record from which the screen was called.
Available Unpacked	N17.2	Indicates the number of study guide packages that could be packed form the available stock. Available stock is defined as stock on hand less item requested not issued.

Block 2:

Block 2 displays the item information of the components of a package item.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Item	N8	The item code of the package component as defined in the pacakge definition {FPMM-24}.
Description	A40	The item description as defined on the item.
Commodity	A7	The commodity code as defineded on the stock item definition. The commodity description displays with a right click on the field.
Critical / Mandatory / Optional Indicator	N4	The critical / mandatory / optional item indicator as definided on the stock item definition.
In Stock	N17.2	The in stock quantity of the item in issue units.
Available	N17.2	Available stock is defined as stock on hand less requested not issued in issue units.
On Order	N17.2	The on order quantity for the item in issue units. Order quantities are converted and displayed as issues units on the screen.
Assesment Required (ASM)	A1	If 'A' it indicates that the institution expects the student to return some form of work completed in respect of the study guide issued else the value is null.
