Calculate Standard Cost Units (SCU) {SPSCU-4}

This program may be used to calculate the number of Standard Cost Units (SCU) represented by each space.

Refer to "Validate Inventory Data / Calc. SCU" {SPOPS-4}  for an overview of the process that the user should follow when calculating Standard Cost Units.

The corresponding currency value for the space is obtained by multiplying the SCU with the Value of the Standard Cost Unit (Buildings) as recorded in the "table sequence 6" record of the STATS Control File {STMNT-1}.

1 The definition of cost factors is critical and sometimes complex. The system will determine the correct cost factor for a particular space or percentage portion of that space by using the information contained in the Program Allocation, PCS1.1 Allocation, Space-Use Category and Area in the Space Inventory {SPOPS-1}.  The area of the space is multiplied by this factor to produce the number of Standard Cost Units for the space.
