Link Students to Region Types / Codes {SREGC-13}

This option can be used to maintain the allocation of students, for a specific year, to the regions defined in {GCS-35}.

This option will go into enter query mode automatically. No need to press "enter query" any more.

When a base region type (region type with level = 0) is defined {tab X}, this table will be populated during registration using the base region type and code from the student's address. These values can be changed in this option.

When a base region type is not defined, records can be created for the student but no validation will be done on parent-child region type and codes.

Processing Rules:

Delete of record is only allowed when Type is not active on {GCS-35b1) {tab X}.
Student must be registered for the year.
When entering new reords
If there is any parent / child region types defined according to {GCS-35b1} {tab X},

check if the student is allocated / linked to the defined region type
if the student is allocated / linked to the defined region type
check if the type and code is valid {tab Y}.

When a base region type is defined, and the region code is changed, validations on parent-child region type and codes will be done on {GCS-35b2} {tab Y}.
If the Type level > 0: Check if the parent Type, Code combination is valid for the

child type, code combination

If the Type level < 0: Check if the child Type, Code combination is valid for the

parent type, Code combination.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Student Number	N9	Enter a valid Student Number or use the LOV. A validation will be done to check if the student is registered for the year entered in the 'Year' field.
Name	A40	Display the students Names and Surname.
Year	YYYY	Registration Years for the student.
Region Type	A2	Enter the Region Type as defined in {tab X}.
Description	A20	Display the Region Type description.
Level	N1	Level display from {tab X}
Region Code	A4	Enter the Region Code to be linked or use the LOV.
Description	A20	Display the Region Code Description.
