Print Class Lists  {SSTURL-1}


This program is used to produce lists of students linked to different Group Types. The same program is used in options {SSTURL-2} and {SSTURL-5} with different parameters. The report may be requested per Service Centre / Activity  combination.

This option produces class lists for different Group Types: ‘C – Class group’, 'E - Exam group', 'P - Practical group' or 'T - Tutorial group' and displays the responsible Lecturer(s) as defined in {SACAD-14} TAB - Group and Lecturers. The report prints the selection criteria only on page one of the multi page report. All the consecutive pages will display the institution name, the title of the report and the page headings e.g. faculty, department, subject etc. See examples below.

  • If a Lecturer is specified, only the class list(s) where this lecturer is the primary lecturer will be printed. 
  • If ALL is chosen, all lecturers for the specified subject(s) will be printed on the class list(s). 
  • If the LOV is used, all primary lecturers, based on the year, faculty, department, group type and group value, will be listed.
  • The LOV cannot display the primary lecturers based on the subject and offering type, because these are both multiple parameters (allow up to 10).

Sort Order Per Comments
Per Faculty, Department, Block Code, Subject, Offering Type, Class Group, Student Name/Student Number/Identity number according to choice alphabetical or numerical. Regardless of the choice of printing the Student Name or not, it is still used for sorting if the Sort Order = (A)lphbetically.

Rules		  
  If assessment weights were entered, these will be displayed unless “Best No. of Assessments” has a value, in which case only this value will be displayed. 
Only when a student has a bursary allocation for academic year / block code combination on {FBLO-4} TAB: Allocations, bursary indicator 'Y' will print.
The Subject Attendance Factor for the student, is calculated in {SSTUD4-2} or {SSTUR2-21}.
