Delete Old Requests {BATCH-6}


When this option is executed, all requests conforming to the rules, will be deleted. 



 Rules for deletion:
  1. Requests that COMPLETED/CANCELLED older than "Nr of Days after which Completed/Cancelled Requests will be Deleted" as defined in {BATCH-1b1} - System Parameters.
  2. Requests that STARTED, but not FINISHED after 5 days.
  3. IMMEDIATE requests not STARTED after 1 day.
  4. Deferred requests not STARTED older than "Nr of Days after which Completed/Cancelled Requests will be Deleted" as defined in {BATCH-1b1} - System Parameters.
  5. Completed requests in the W1 queue older than 1 day.
 
Exceptions to rules for deletion after conforming to rules above:
  1. Saved Batch Requests {BATCH-14} / {BATCH-20}
  2. Requests with documents linked where the document category is not 'ITSREP' (Report Output) nor 'ITSCOMP' (iComms Batch Prints).
  3. Requests that has a record that exists on Student Correspondence.



It is strongly advised that g31uni is executed via the CRON every night.
g31uni does:
  1. Delete Old Requests {BATCH-6}, based on the value in {BATCH-1b1} - System Parameters, field "Nr of Days after which completed/Cancelled Requests will be Deleted".
  2. Activate all the queues and process requests in the queue if any.
  3. Close the queues based on the value in {BATCH-1b2} - System Parameters - Queue Maintenance, field "Must the Queue Terminate and Close if there is no more Jobs".
