Link Assets to System {FJCM-2}


Assets are linked to the Job Costing subsystem in this option. This is done because of the thousands of assets in the Asset System are used by the Job Costing System.



Fields in the option:

Block 1:  Asset Register:  Link Assets to System:  Selection Criteria

This block is used to reduce the number of records in the query of Assets in block 2 for a specific Asset Category and/or Asset Type

Block 2:  Asset Register:  Link Assets to System:  Asset Register

Length		 Description
Serial Number A15 For Equipment that has Serial number this number is entered here to identify the asset.  This is a required field.
Registration Number A15 This field is used to identify the asset by the registration number of the Asset or Equipment as defined in menu {AOPS-1}.
Chassis Number A15 Enter Chassis number if it was not entered in the asset inventory system.
Engine Number A15 Enter Engine number if it was not entered in the asset inventory system
Indicator A2 This field indicates that the specific asset can be used in the identified subsystem.  An asset can only be used in one subsystem at a time.
Description A30 The description of the asset is entered or updated here if it was not entered in the asset inventory  system.
