Cancel Orders {FPMO2-4}

• This application is used to cancel or complete Orders (Document Types - O and OS).
• The document types available to be cancelled are determined by the menu option. In {FPMO2-4} the user can select either Order or Standing Order. 
• After selecting a document type the user must select a document number from the <List of Values> or enter a document number if it is known to the user.
• The <List of Values> on the field will list the document number, document type, process date and creditor code of documents in the status Normal with items not copied or partially copied to a higher document in the hierarchy.

• Cancel - All items on the document are cancelled and the document cannot be used in a higher document in the hierarchy of documents in the PM system
• Complete - The document has been used in a higher document in the hierarchy of documents in the PM system and only the outstanding items on the document are cancelled.

• If a document is cancelled or completed on selecting the document type and number, the program will automatically set the value of the type code field to the action allowed for the document i.e. cancel or complete. The user is not allowed to update the action.
• If an order is cancelled and Reinstate Requisition is set to Yes it will reinstate the requisition so that the requisition can be used again to place an order. The field is only used when cancelling an order. It has no meaning when completing an order or when cancelling/completing requisitions.
• The user must now enter a valid reason code for the cancellation or completion record.

• The <List of Values> on the reason code will display all the valid reason codes for the type code plus their description.

• The description of the reason code is displayed next to the reason code.
