Corrections to Returns {FVTO-4}

Once a booking has been completed with the end odometer reading entered, it is not possible to adjust odometer readings on the system.

This option is used to correct end kilometer readings. Only vehicles that have been returned will be displayed in this option. Vehicles that must be issued and returned can be queried in {FVTO-3}. As this option provides the functionality to alter odometer readings, access to the option should be limited to supervisors.

End Odometer	N7	Enter Odometer reading at end of the trip.

	Only completed trips can be queried and the start and end odometer reading can be adjusted. Changing the start and end odometer reading values will create correcting journal transactions to the relevant accounts. These records are written to the General Ledger with the following value in the GL NOTE field “POOL VEHICLE ADJUSTMENT”. These records can be queried on {FGLO-1}. The characters “VEB” and the transaction number are written in the “Reference” field of the GL.
