| Code | N4 | All universities, technikons and teacher training
colleges have been
allocated a three-digit number in SAPSE 005, Appendix B. If an
institution has been allocated a four digit number, it will be
picked up by SAPSE as "OTHER". The institution's code is entered here.
These codes are maintained under option {GCS-2}.
The institution name,
as it was entered under option {GCS-1}, will appear on internal reports
produced by the system. |

| Postal Code | A4 | Enter the postal code of the institution. |
| Country Code | A4 | This field will stay null for RSA customers, but change
for other
countries, to enable ITS to have one system catering for the processing
needs for different countries. The code is created on installation and
may
not be changed. This code has an effect on certain programs e.g.
{SACAD-1}. Institutions
outside the borders of South Africa report to
educational departments that require different standards and,
some of the fields in this application may therefore be non-mandatory. |

A30 | This field is used to store the Institution Abbreviated Name. |
| Site Web Address | A60 | This is the address of the institution's, web site for the ITS system on V12. It will be used as the entry point for saving report output. |
| Pensionable Age | N2 | This field is used in the personnel system to calculate pension dates. The value would normally be 60 or 65. |
| Year Displacement Value | -1/0/+1 | This value will indicate the year in which the academic
year will
commence and operates in conjunction with I. This option was changed
to accommodate the following: An institution can now decide when the
academic year will begin. The valid values are -1/0/+1 - If the Academic year Start in month = 1 Year Displacement Value 0, the academic year starts e.g. JAN 2001, if you are in the year 2001 - If Academic year Start in month=3 Year Displacement Value = +1 the academic year starts on MARCH 2002, if you are in the year 2001 - If Academic year Start in month=3 Year Displacement Value = -1 the academic year starts on MARCH 2000, if you are in the year 2001 |

| Currency | A3 | This is not an updateable field, it displays the currency as defined in option {FCSO-21}. |
| Version | A4 | This field is displayed only, it represents the
currently installed version of the ITS system. |
| Maximum Number | N9 | This field notes the length and maximum character value for the generation of Student, Personnel and Other numbers. If the institution wants to work with a seven-digit number with a maximum value of 9 per character, the value 9999999 should be entered here. A new field was added to the background to limit the range of student numbers. If this field is empty, any number can be typed in this field, if the field has a value of XX the maximum number that you may enter is XX9999999. |
| NCR Registration Number | A30 | The National Credit Act requires that the NCR Registration Number be printed on statements that are produced for student debtors in the SD subsystem, as well as debtors in the AR subsystem. To obtain a registration number, the institution must register with the National Credit Regulator as a credit provider. |
| Routing Timeout Start / End Time | N6 | Routing time only applies between the start and end times if the System Operational Definition (SOD) for code: EX, subs GC, is set to 'Y'. These fields will only display when SOD for code: WH, subs GC, is set to 'Y'. |
