Additional Information per Copy  {LBIO-4}


Using this option, all specifications concerning periodicals can be entered per individual copy.

Description
Mnemonic A16 The mnemonic of the periodical and the full title will display.
Bibliographic Record Number N8 Enter the bibliographic number.  This will also be retrieved if a valid mnemonic has been entered.
    Press <NEXT BLOCK>.  The existing information on this title will be displayed or can be entered.

Block 2:  Maintain Information

Copy N3 Enter the appropriate copy number.  If the binding information has been entered previously it will be displayed along with the shelf number.
Branch A6 The branch to which this copy has been allocated can be entered in this field.  The <LIST> facility will display the relevant codes as maintained under option {LPMM-2}.
Location  A3 The appropriate location of this copy of the periodical can be entered in this field. The location codes are maintained under option {LPMC-2} and the <LIST> facility will display these. 
Media Code A6 The media code as defined under option {LPMC-3} can be entered in this field.  The <LIST> facility will display the values.
Prefix  A6 The prefix code as defined under option {LPMC-4} can be entered in this field.  The <LIST> facility will display the values.
Shelf No. A25 The shelf number is displayed from the bibliographic record as soon as the copy number is entered; otherwise it should be entered at this stage.
Stats Category  N2 The appropriate CESM category should be entered in this field.  The <LIST> facility will display the relevant values.
Set-up Binding Information A1 By entering “Y” in this field, certain binding instructions as defined under option {LBIC-1} can be linked to the specific copy.  Once “Y” is entered, a screen with the heading “Link Binding Instructions to Copies” will appear.
The bibliographic number, the copy number and the mnemonic are displayed in the first block.
When the <NEXT BLOCK> command is executed, the title is displayed and the cursor will be in the “Binding Code” field.  Any existing data will also be displayed.  The <LIST> facility will display the defined codes and the appropriate ones can be selected. 
Code A3 The retention code as maintained under option {LPEC-2} can be entered here.  The <LIST> facility will display the correct values.
Binding Colour A10 The colour in which this title should be bound is entered here.
Packages N2 The number of copies to be kept on shelf should be entered here.  The information in this field is used when printing “current file slips” in {LPEOR1-25}.
Issues to Bind per Volume N3 The number of issues, which are to be bound in one volume, should be entered in this field.
Index A1 Must index be (I)ncluded or (E)xcluded.
