The default MARC fields, which are
in use in the Cataloguing Sub-system, are displayed in this option; these
can be updated by each individual library. These fields will be
added to all bibliographic records that are manually created and can be
changed on individual records. This is useful where standard
data is added to all records containing content that is nearly always the
same.
