User Restrictions are generaly used to either control actions that user can perform on a particular menue option or to limit data on which these actions can be performed.
User Restriction Types:
Restriction
On
menu options where restrictions of this particular type are
implemented, user will have have full control over complete
data
unless
linked to the restriction code in block 2, in which case
user data access and actions will be limited according to the rules of
the restriction code.
Access
Exclusive
Restrictions of this type are used to assign ownership of certain data exclusively to single user e.g. Notes.For further details on this option blocks and field information, see Maintain User Restrictions {GCS-11}
