SAUNICAT Information {LILM-1}


Using this option the SAUNICAT information for libraries can be maintained. 


Fields in the option:

Block 1:  Maintain Unicat Information

Field Type

Length		 Description
Unicat Code A4  The unique code of a library should be entered.
Borrower's Code N7 Every library that uses the Inter-lending facility, should have a borrower's code.
Name A60 The institution's name can be entered in this field.
Library Name A60 The library's name can be entered.
Preferred Language A1 The institution's preferred language can be selected, i.e. (E)nglish or (A)lternate.
User type N2 A code for the user type should be entered in this field.  The <LIST> facility will display the valid codes, as defined under option {LCIC-2}.

Block 2:  Link Inter-lending Users to Subsystem

It is necessary to link inter-lending users to the Library System for the correct functioning of the system.

Length		 Description
User  A1 The user type code is displayed as defined under option {LCIC-2}.
Number  N7 The user borrower's number can be entered.  The name is displayed.
System Code  A6 The system to which the user must be linked can be entered.  The code “INT” for Inter-lending sub-system will default in this field.
Start Date DD-MON-YYYY The date on which this user is given library privileges.
Expiry Date DD-MON-YYYY The date on which these privileges expire.
