Personnel Indicators {PBOP-22}

This screen allows the user to link any user-defined indicators as set-up in the Personnel Indicators Code Structure {PACS-7} to personnel members.

The screen also allows the user to record a start date and an end date between which the indicator will be valid for the personnel member.

Personnel Indicators may be used to record, and report on any additional information that may be indicated for personnel members such as:

Member of staff society.
The person qualifies for removal costs.
The person is on a study program.
An action (typically entered in the remarks column) is required from or towards the person.

The system uses personnel indicators as follows:

A list of personnel members for which a particular indicator is valid at a specified date may be produced with the Personnel Indicators Report {PBOPR1-22}.
Documents generated with the General/Increases Document {PACOR1-1} in the correspondence system may be limited to personnel linked to one or more personnel indicators
The Equity Report {PAOPR3-2} will include personnel linked to a specified personnel indicator in the section on training.

The system also provides for a Bulk Update of Personnel Indicators {PAOP-7}.

Box 1: Personnel Indicators

The following information can be entered:

Field	Type & Length	Description
Indicator	A2	A valid code as defined in Personnel Indicator Codes {PACS-7}. The description is displayed when the code is entered. The <LIST> function will display allowed values.
Applicable	Yes/ No	Indicates whether the employee meets the requirements. The <LIST> function will display allowed values.
Start Date	(DD-MON-YYYY)	Date until which this indicator applies. This field is optional.
End Date	(DD-MON-YYYY)	Date up to which this indicator applies. This field is optional.
Remarks	A100	As appropriate. Only 70 characters are displayed, but the full field can be entered. This field is optional. Please note that the same indicator may be linked several times to the same employee, as long as the start dates differ.
