General Notes {PBOP-25}

The General Notes facility allows the user to enter notes for a personnel member. The notes are classified according to a Note Classification Code {PACS-8}.

The screen also allows the user to record a date against a note.

The system uses personnel indicators as follows:

The recorded notes may be printed with the General Notes per Employee report {PAOPR1-23}

option:

Box 1: General Notes

Field	Type & Length	Description
Personnel Number	N9	Unique personnel number.
Sequence number	N3	Number generated by the system.
Date	(DD-MON-YYYY)	A date may be entered here. The General Notes per Employee report will only select records where this date is between the Start and End Dates as entered in the user selection parameters when the report is run.
Note Classification Code	A2	A valid classification code as defined under option {PACS-8]. The description is displayed when the code is entered.
Note Free text field	A2000	The note may be entered here.
