Maintain Posts Advertised  {PROP-1} 


This two-Block option allows the entering of: information concerning posts to be advertised: and the members of selection committees for these posts.


Fields in the option:

Block 1:  Post Application Detail

The combination of post code and closing date is unique.

Post A4  When a valid post code is entered, the description of the post and its primary department, faculty, type, authorised rank and minimum qualification are displayed, as well as date frozen and date unfrozen for advertising.
Start Date DD-MON-YYYY The starting date for applications for this post.
Closing Date DD-MON-YYYY The closing date for applications for this post.
Date of Approval of Selection Committee DD-MON-YYYY Date on which committee's recommendation was approved.

Approved by N9 When the person's employee number is entered, his/her title, initials and surname are displayed.
Re-advertise? A1 The default is (N)o, but can be updated. (Y)es/(N)o.
Date Post Filled DD-MON-YYYY The appointment date of the successful applicant is displayed here.  This field is updated when the “Date Post Filled” is entered (or updated) and <COMMITS>ted in {PROP-4}, TAB - Work Permit Detail.
Internal/External Appointment A1 (I)/(E) This information is displayed here.  This field is updated depending on the type of applicant when the “Date Post Filled” is entered (or updated) and <COMMIT>ted in {PROP-4}, TAB - Work Permit Detail.
Number of Applicants N10 Displays the number of applicants. This field can be updated.

Block 2:  Scales of Authorised Ranks

This query-only screen displays the full-scale set of the authorised rank of this post as defined in option {FPRG-2} of the Payroll System.  The post code and closing date are carried over from Block 1 and the system does an auto-query.
