Training Providers {PSDOP-2}


External Training Providers can be indicated as Employers on the System using Employer Codes in {GCS-22}. Further details of the training providers related to skills development, can be entered in this screen by querying the relevant Employer and entering the details.


This screen will also allow the user to add new Employer Codes if necessary through a “Drill Down” facility on block 2 that will open {GCS-22} provided that user access to the option has been granted.


Training providers can be indicated on Scheduled Courses in {PSDOP-6}.

Fields in this option:

Block 1:  Training Providers.

This block does not allow the user to create new records or to delete records. Employers indicated as Training Providers in {GCS-22} can be queried here. The following fields appear on the screen:

Training Provider Code A5  This is the Employer Code as entered in {GCS-22}. The field cannot be updated.
Training Provider Name A30 The Employer Name as entered in {GCS-22}. The field cannot be updated.
Industry Type Code A4 The Industry Type as entered in {GCS-22}. The field cannot be updated.. The description of the Industry Type will also display.
Training Registration Number A20 The Registration Number of the training provider with the relevant statutory body can be entered here.

Block 2:  Training Providers per Course Category.

This block allows the user to indicate the Training Providers for each Course Category. The following information can be entered:

Course Category  A4 As defined in {PSDCS-8}. (mandatory). A drill down button next to the field will open {PSDCS-8} allowing the user to maintain the course categories if necessary provided that access has been granted.
Training Provider Code  A5 As defined in  {GCS-22} (mandatory) A drill down button next to the field will open {GCS-22} allowing the user to maintain the Training Providers (Employers) if necessary provided that access has been granted.
