Course Schedule {PSDOP-6}

This program is used to schedule courses that are already defined in {PSDOP-5}.
The scheduling of the presentation of Modules within Courses as defined in {PSDOP-7} can be recorded through this option. Multiple Contact Persons (as defined in {PSDOP-1}) for each time the scheduled Module within a Course will also be recorded in this program.

Description
Year YYYY The Year in which the presentation will take place (mandatory). The year is used as a parameter for the List of Scheduled Courses {PSDOPR-6} and the List of Possible Course Participants {PSDOPR-14}. The List of Assessors and Other Staff {PSDOPR-11} will only use records where the Year is equal to the Current System Date Year and the Course Contact Persons {PSDCSR-18} will only use records where the Year is equal to the Current System Date Year if “Active Only” is selected.
Presentation Number N4 A module can be scheduled to be presented multiple times (mandatory). The Presentation Number should be supplied to identify each presentation.
Course Code A10 The Course Code of the module that is being scheduled (mandatory).
Language A2 Only valid Language Codes for the course as entered in {PSDOP-5b5} may be used. Note that languages for the Module are not used.
Module Code A10 The module that is scheduled (mandatory).  Only valid Module Codes for the course as entered in {PSDOP-5b2} may be used.
Schedule Type A4 Only Schedule Types as defined in {PSDCS-14} may be entered.
Start Date and Time DD-MON-YYYY HHMM The Start Date and Time for the presentation of the module.
End Date and Time DD-MON-YYYY HHMM The End Date and Time for the presentation of the module.
Venue (Where the module will be presented) Building (N4)

To indicate the Venue, enter Building Code, Floor and Room Number as maintained in the Space Inventory {SPOPS-1}. The default Venue will be as entered on the Course Definition {PSDOP-5}. If an off-campus venue that is not recorded in the Space Inventory, is used, these fields can be left blank and the name of the venue can be entered in the field “External Venue”.

To indicate the Venue, enter Building Code (N4), Floor (N2) and Room Number (A7) as maintained in the Space Inventory {SPOPS-1}. The default Catering Venue will be as entered on the Course Definition {PSDOP-5}.
Booking Number N7 A Booking Number for the presentation as created in the Central Booking System {BOPS-1} can be entered here. The drill-down button next to the field will open the Booking Screen in the Central Booking System to allow the user to create a booking, provided that the user has access to the screen.
External Venue A60 In case the External Venue for the presentation is not recorded in the Space Inventory {SPOPS-1}, the name of the venue can be entered in this field.
Training Provider A5 If the course is presented by an external Training Provider, the Training Provider can be entered in this field. Only valid Training Providers as defined in {PSDOP-2} can be entered.
Show Contact Details A1 The value in this field is not recorded on the database. If (Y)es is selected and the user navigates to the next block, the contact details of the Training Provider will be opened. If (N)o is selected and the user navigates to the next block, the block with the Contact Persons for the presentation will be opened.
Display on Web Radio button Display on Web field = ‘Y’ as well as the last change date Field which must have a valid date in, this will be the last date on which a personnel member cab change a boo0 king else it will stop the person with an error message.
Last Change Date A11 This is the last date on which bookings or chamges may be done for this course.

Block 2:   Course Schedule Contacts.

In this block, the contact person/s for each presentation of a course as scheduled through Block 1 can be entered.

Assessor Number N9 (mandatory).
Assessor Type N1 (A)ssessor, (F)acilitator, (C)oordinator, A(D)ministrator or (M)oderator.
Contact Person Type A1 (P)ersonnel Member, (S)tudent or (O)ther (mandatory).
Contact Person Number N9 The person number of the Contact Person. Only valid Contact Person/s as entered in {PSDOP-1} may be entered (mandatory).
Show Contact Details A1 The value in this field is not recorded on the database. If (Y)es is selected and the user navigates to the next block, the contact details of the contact person will be opened.
