Subject Group Query {SACAD-15}

This menu option is used to query subject groups that has been set up on {SACAD-11} based on the Academic year/Qualification/Subject or Subject group code.

To use this menu option you may select information, by using the pivot table options as required. Two filter buttons display, the default being “Year” and “Qualification”.

Fields in the option:

This block is used to indicate which groups are valid for which qualification in a particular academic year.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Academic Year	YYYY	Select/Display the Academic year for which the Qualification/Subject or Subject group code combination will be valid.
Qualification Code	A6	Select/Display the Qualification code for which the Academic year/Subject or Subject group code combination will be valid.
Subject Code	A7	Select/Display the Subject code for which the Academic year/Qualification/or Subject group code combination will be valid.
Subject Group Name	A6	Display the Subject group code name.
Offering type	A2	Display the offering type for which the Academic year/Qualification/or Subject group code combination will be valid.
Offering type Description	A30	Display the offering type description.
Study Period	N1	Display the Study period for which the Academic year/Qualification/or Subject group code combination will be valid.
Study Period Description	A20	Display the Study period description.
Minimum Subject(s)	N3	Display the minimum number of subjects which the Academic year/Qualification/Subject or Subject group code combination is valid.
Maximum Subject(s)	N3	Display the maximum number of subjects which the Academic year/Qualification/Subject or Subject group code combination is valid.

Example(s):

There is a filter area at the top of the form which allows you to drag the field headers into the filter area to obtain the required view. The defaults field that can be dragged are Subject and Subject Group Code. A (+) icon displays when hovering over these fields. When dragged to reorder on the table, a third filter will move into the filter area. On these filter buttons there is the facility to select the year by using the drop-down button and when using the second button, dependent on what displays extra selection option are available

When exiting the menu, the filter selections are removed and when selecting the menu option again, the default form will open.
