Rules
    
    The program will:

1.  Select the maximum year for the system cycle 'A' where:
 
1.1.  the block code is equal to the block code entered by the user.
1.2.  the system date is between the start and end date of an open system cycle.

2.  Select non-cancelled application records.

3.  Select application records where the qualification code exists in the academic structure for the year selected.

4.  For School leaving exam types (1,7,9) and matric types 2, 3 and 8 it will:

4.1.  calculate the WRS score for the best sitting and matric type combination; 
4.2.  do this using the 6 subjects with the highest scores (scores are set up in {SCAO1-3}).

5.  For GCE / GCSE exam types (4,5):

5.1.  If the grade = 'A';

5.1.1.  use three 'A' level subjects.

5.2.  If the grade = 'S' use:

5.2.1.  two 'A' level and;
5.2.2.  two 'S' level subjects.

6.  Exclude manually rated applications.

7.  Calculate a random number for the application once by applying the 'RN' validation (see the Technical Information
section on the new validations).
 
8.  The program will mark each record used for the WRS calculation, it will display this with a "Y" value for the field "Use WRS" in option {SCAOM-7b3}.

9  .If "Y" is selected for the selection criteria "Calculate WRS for CAO student's only (Y/N) (A1)" then the WRS calculation will on be done for students where the IEREVENT has a value.

10.  On successful completion of this program, the run number record will be updated with: the date of processing, the user who ran the program, and the number of records processed.

11.  The user can now specify multiple run numbers to be included or excluded.
