SLF Matrix Information {SMNT-17}


Matrix to define values used for the calculation of the SLF value for a student enrolment.

Description
Funding Category N10 Enter the Funding Category.  Valid values from List of Values.  This field is mandatory.
Funding Category Description Funding Category Description  will display.
Number of Subjects N2 Enter the number of Main Subjects the factor will applied to.  This must be a unique value for the funding category.
Factor N1.2 Enter the value for the Factor.  Value may not be greater than 1.00.

  Service Level Factor (SLF) - this is a calculation between the funding category entered and the number of main subjects the student is enrolled for.  Fixed calculation as per matrix below.  (Take note that this is only an example).

Main Subjects:  {SACADO-17} is used to setup a structure of references between a "Main Subject" and "Modules".

If a student is registered for Funding Category 1 with two main subjects the value of the SLF will be W.
If the student is registered for Funding Category 1 with 3 main subjects the value of the SLF will be W.
If the student is registered for Funding Category 1 with 5 main subjects the value of the SLF will be Y.
If the student is registered for Funding Category 1 with 6 main subjects the value of the SLF will be Y.
If the student is registered for Funding Category 1 with 7 to 10 main subjects the value of the SLF will be Z.
