Weight Types and Weights {SNAPPAC-2}


In this program the user will define weight types link these weight types to matric type and grade combinations and allocate weights.


Matric Types must be defined on {SCODE3}: TAB Matric Types.

Matric Grades are defined per Matric Type on {SCODE-6} : TAB Grade / Level Description.

Code A1  A code for the weight type.
Description A30 A description for the weight type.
Sequence N3 The sequence in which this weight must be processed.

Matric Type A2 The matric type for which the weights will be valid.
Grade A1 The grade for which the weight will be valid.
Weight Type A1 Define a weight type for the Matric Type and Grade combination.
Weight Type Weight N2 The weight in respect of this weight type for the matric and grade combinations.
Number of Subjects N3 The maximum number of subjects that can be used and that are not categorised as other.
Weight Type to Use   Weight for this weight type in respect of the matric and grade combination when the number of subjects that was allocated to this weight type or weight group is filled.
Use in Eligibility A1 If Y, the weight group will be used in testing eligibility.  Defaults to N for No.
