This option consists of four blocks of information with which applicants may be rated for selection purposes. Block 1 consists of the SRS Scores (Swedish Rating Scale), Block 2 consists of the WRS Scores (Weighted Rating Scale), Block 3 Grade / Level Descriptions and Block 4 Gender Additional Credit.
The system is supplied
with standard values in respect of the above, but the user may change
these and add to them.
SRS Scores can be printed at {SCODER-6}.
The use of these scores is more fully discussed in “Application Sub-System” Manual.
Field | Type & Length |
Description |
---|---|---|
Symbol | A2 | The Symbol that is obtained in the matric exam, e.g. “A”, “FF”, etc. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes. |
Grade | A1 | Note that the system will not check if a Grade has been pre-defined. If a grade is not linked to an SRS code, no score will be calculated for all subjects with this grade. |

Matric Type | A2 | The Matric Type can be enetered here, when different Matric Types have different SRS scores. If no matric type is entered then the SRS score is valid for all matric types. |
As discussed in “Application Sub-System Manual", the institution may weigh some subjects relative to others in calculating Weighted Rating Scale (WRS) scores for particular qualifications. In this block the user constructs tables of factors which are then linked to specific qualifications via option {SACAD-13}, TAB - Qualification Information.
WRS Scores can be printed at {SCODER-7}
Note: It is imperative
that at least one record is created with a code “1”.
