Residence Item Code Structure {SREG-8} 


This option may be used to maintain code structure for items to be linked to residences on residence registrations done on {SREG-4b3}. The items can be grouped into packages and linked to a building, floor and room combination. 

Note: All the codes in this option are user defined.

Block 1, residence packages are created with package numbers and these packages can be made active or inactive whenever it becomes necessary.

Block 2, items can be defined with their item numbers and linked to the monetary replacement values.

Block 3, is used to define items per package with an indication of whether these items are to be returned or not. In block 3 package location is defined i.e. package, building, floor and room combination.

Package Number N9  This field is used to indicate the number of the package in which items can be grouped together in Block 3.
Package Name A40 This field is used to indicate the name of the package.
Active A1 If a package should no longer be used, this value should be set to (N)o. Program {SREG-4} will validate that a package number is active before a user is allowed to use the code.

Item Number N9 This field is used to create an item number for each item to be used in residences. The item is then given a description.
Item Description A40 This field is used to create an item description for each item to be used in residences. 
Replacement Price N17.2 This field is used to indicate the monetary value of the item. Note that this field is not mandatory.

Block 3:  Items per Package

Package Code N9 This field refers to the package code as created in Block 1. The field has a list of values and this list will display only the package numbers that are indicated as active in the first block.
Item Number N9 This field is used to indicate the item number to be linked to the package. The list of values will display the item numbers created in the previous block.
Quantity N7 This field refers to the quantity of the items per item number to be linked to the package.
To be Returned A1 This field prescribes whether the item should be returned or not when the residence period ends. 
Active A1 This field is used to indicate whether the item is active or not for the package.

Block 4:  Packages per Location

Package N9 This field refers to the package number, as created in block 1. A list of values will display the package numbers and their descriptions as displayed in block 1.
Building N4 This field refers to the building number, as maintained in Space Sub-System {SPCS-4}.
Floor N4 Residence floor number linked to the building, as maintained on space inventory {SPOPS-1}.
Room A7 Refers to the valid room code for the building / floor combination.
