Maintain Previous Credits {SSTUD7-1}

This option is used to change the Qualification Code on the Student's registered Subject. This option does not generate any financial transactions and is not linked to any system cycles.

Only legitimate changes for purposes of SAPSE Table 2.14 should be done here.

Credits: Due to the complex validation rules no check against the minimum and maximum credits for a student as in {SREGAR-1} will be done.
As there will be a discrepancy between the minimum and maximum allocation, a report has been produced on {SREGAR-22} that will be available to list students with credit problems.

This option consists of two Tabs 'Subject Detail' and 'Qualification Detail'

Fields in this option:

TAB ONE: 'Subject Detail'

Panel box 1: Search; and
Panel box 2: Subject Detail

A search can be done by entering data in all the fields or either the 'Student Number', 'Academic Year', and 'Subject'. At least one of the fields are required. The data will then be displayed on the 'Subject Detail' panel box.

TAB TWO: Qualification Detail

On this tab only qualification information of the student will be displayed.

Qualification	A7	The user is allowed to change only the 'Qualification Code' for which the student is registered. The system will check that the subject is a valid subject in the curriculum of the 'Qualification' to which the enrolment is changed. No other information can be updated here. The 'List of Value' will display the valid 'Qualifications'. Fields that will display are the 'Qualification Code', 'Qualification Name', 'Approved Qualification', 'Qualification Number' and 'Active indicator'. All 'Qualifications' for which the subject is valid on the curriculum will display and the 'Qualifications' that the student was registered for will be displayed with a 'Qualification Number'.
