Card Sequence Number {CIDM-2] 


This option is used to obtain data for the auto-generation of the barcodes.


Fields in the option:

Block 1:  Last Card Sequence Number

Length		 Description
  When a barcode is generated by the system, the number is in the following format: 
2 characters Institution ID as in {GCS-2}
3 characters  Year
5 characters Serial number from {CIDM-2}
2 characters 01 (the sequence number of the card)  
Year YYYY The first character and the last two characters of the year.  Three digit year, eg 1999 = 199, 2000 = 200, 2001 = 201, etc.  
Last Card Sequence N5 The next available serial number from {CIDM-2}

The three characters for the year and the 5 characters for the next available number are taken from this option.  The year is matched to the year of the system date.
