Organisational Contacts {GCS-10}

This option is used for reporting purposes to determine who has to approve data and depends on seniority.

This option is used extensively in the Lecturing iEnabler.

Block 3:  Communication Level Information

Description
Level Code A1 Choose the Level Code for this level.  These values are defined in the Communication Levels tab.
Level Number N4 This is the level number used in the hierarchy to determine who receives what communication in what order.  The Lecturing iEnabler starts from the lowest numbers first.
Communication Type A4 Use the code defined by the user in the second block  Communication Levels.
Personnel Number N9 The personnel number to be contacted.
Post Code A8 This is the Postal Code for which the communication level will be added.
Remarks A30 Any remarks linked to this record.
Email List A80 This field is used to define an email address containing various people. It is to be used with the National Benchmark Tests(NBT) functionality. If an institution uses ther National Benchmark functionality and a student registers on {SREGAR-1} for the first time, without the mandatory NBT results on {SNAPNBT-2} as defined on {SNAPNBT-1} tab -  National Benchmarks Test Mandatory, the email will be sent to the persons lined to the email address entered. The field may only be used if The Personnel Number or Post Code is nut completed.

Processing
Rules
 
  If  the Communication type  used is 'NBTO' and the Personnel number or Post code is entered on block 3, multiple records will be allowed for the same level code, level number and communication type will be allowed.
If  the Communication type  used is not  'NBTO' and the Personnel number or Post code is entered on block 3, multiple records will NOT be allowed for the same level code, level number and communication type will be allowed.
