The concept of Offering Types as used in the Student Information System, is fully discussed in the Academic Structure Overview Manual.
This is used to deal with aspects such as partnership agreements, full-time and part-time study, multiple campuses, etc. This may be used to create unique examination timetables for different campuses.
Since an exorbitant number of Offering Types will
result in a complex Academic Structure and other complications,
the reader is urged to read the appropriate sections in the manual before
proceeding here.
