As an example, the set-up of the system to store electronic copies of Student Certificates Seen is explained below.

Step 1 (Set-up): Ensure that a Document Category {GDOCS-1} with the relevant reference field(s) exist.

Step 2 (Set-up): Link the Document Category to the Application Program {GDOCS-4}. In this case the Application Program is "Certificates Seen {SREGB-8}"

Query the application program in the "Program - tab"

Link the application program to a Document Storage Category in the "Link DSR Category to Program" - tab

The view - action will allow users with access to the application program to view documents of this category
The update - action will allow users with access to the application program to load documents of this category

Step 3 (Actual Storage): Navigate to Certificates Seen {SREGB-8}

Query the Student and the Certificate - record for which an electronic copy of the certificate-document is to be stored.
Right-Click in the screen canvas and select "Document Storage and Retrieval".

Step 4 (Actual Storage): Continued.

The dialogue below appears.
If file name is blank, Click on "Store" to load document.
To view existing documents for the record, Click on "View"
The field 'Verified' is used to indicate per document uploaded if it was verified already or not.
