Acceptance of Appointment by Candidate
This program is not linked to a menu option and is accessed from outside the iEnabler Menu Driver.
It forms part of the iEnabler Appointments
process and allows the person to be appointed to electronically accept
or reject the appointment before having a valid Personnel Number and
PIN that allows login to the Personnel iEnabler.
To include it in the iEnabler Appointments process, take note of the following:
- It is preferred that it must be possible to communicate with the candidate through Email.
- For each iEnabler Appointment, the Web Page URL Link to this
program, as well as a PIN that the person may use to log into the
program, is written to lines 531 and 532 of sequence 0 of the Routing
Request. Refer to iEnabler Appointment Routing for more detail.
- A Routing Request Sequence (Step) for the Acceptance of the
Appointment must be created in the Default Routing Request Information {GROU-1}
- It should be set-up to send Email to the Email Address of the
Applicant, with notification that acceptance is required. A part of the
Email body must include theWeb Page URL Link to this program and the PIN.
- This program will allow the candidate to select an Outcome
Code, that will determine whether the Appointment is Accepted or
Declined. The Outcome Codes used for the Approval of Appointments {P00008-1} may be used here and they will execute the same processing rules.
- From here, the Routing Request will proceed as it was set-up.
