Information Request {P000RI-1} 


Information Requests may be set up using Web Information Request Types {GCS-30}, the Web Information Request Data Model {GCS-31}, and the Routing System {GMAIN-4}. 


This screen will first present a list of the different Information Request Types that are active, and upon selection, it will then present the relevant Information Request.

Upon saving, the program will create a Routing Request {GROU-2} of the Routing Entry Type associated with the Information Request (refer to Web Information Request Types {GCS-30}. The Email Instruction Lines of Sequence 0 of the Routing Request will be populated as follows:

Line Instruction
1 Description of the Information Request Type {GCS-30}.
2 Person Type (Personnel or Student) and Number, Title Initials (Name) and Surname of the web end user who saved the Information Request.
3 Email address of the web end user who saved the Information Request.
4 The words "Email Address: " and the Email address of the web end user who saved the Information Request.
5 The words "Telephone Number(s): " and the telephone number(s) of the web end user who saved the Information Request.
6 The words "Route Number :" and the Routing Request Number in brackets.
20 and onwards From line 20 onwards, the prompts displayed and the responses to the prompts are saved; prompts are saved on the even line numbers and the corresponding response for each prompt on each next uneven line number. The prompts and responses are saved in the order in which they were presented, as set up in the Web Information Request Data Model {GCS-31}

Note that no Instruction Lines item will be saved for questions that are indicated as (S)uppress in the Compulsory field of the Web Information Request Data Model {GCS-31}. 

In addition to the Email Instruction field, the Generic Character -, Number - and Date fields, of the Email Instruction Lines of sequence 0, will be populated;  this is to enable the back-office system to associate responses to prompts with the fields in the input screens indicated in the Web Information Request Data Model {GCS-31}. The values will be as follows:
