Salary-Related Detail   {PAOP-8}

This block contains confidential detail and access should be limited to approved staff members only.  The information contained in this block is:

1. Personnel Number, Title, Initials and Surname.
2. Salary Notch, Barrier Notch (The most current Salary Notch and Barrier Notch with an effective start date less or equal to the system date is selected from the salary notch table in the Fixed Salary Detail {FPRI-1}.
3. Increase Month, Payment Method, Bonus Month.
4. Husband's / Wife's Names.
5. Bank Account Type and Number, Branch Code and Name.
6. Receiver of Revenue Code and Name.
7. Calculation Number and Paydate Number.
8. Preferred Language.
9. Marital Status.
10. Income Tax Number and Tax Status.
11. Tax on Bonus Indicator (Monthly or Annually).
12. Pay Point.
13. Stop Payment Indicator with Start and End pay cycles.
14. STATS Gross Salary  (rounded to nearest Rand).

With the exception of the fields “Preferred Language” and “STATS Gross Salary”, this detail is for viewing and querying only and no input or updating is allowed, see the Fixed Salary Detail {FPRI-1} in the ITS Payroll System regarding the fields in this block. 

Institutions who do not use the ITS Payroll System can enter the STATS Gross Salary manually, rounded to the nearest Rand. Alternately the STATS Gross Salary for the year may be calculated with Generate Stats Gross Salary {FPRY-22}.
