Post Types {PPECS-1}

This screen allows the definition of various “types” of posts, e.g. Academic, Part Time, etc.

The Post Type is entered in the Post {PPEO-1}.

The Pensionable Age of the Post Type is used to calculate the default Pension Date in the Pension Detail {PAOP-4}.
A batch program to Update Pension Dates {PPEO-11}, in existing Pension Detail records exists.

Fields in this option:

Box 1: Post Types

Field	Type & Length	Description
Post Type	A4	A unique code for this post type.
Description	A30	A meaningful description, e.g. “Academic Part Time”. If desired, the STATS personnel category can be included in the description.
Pensionable Age	N2	Supply the pensionable age of personnel who are appointed to posts linked to this post type. The pensionable age on menu option {GCS-1} will default but may be updated.
On exit, the user will be presented with an option to update the pensionable date on menu option {PAOP-4}. The user willhave the otpion to run a (T)rial or a (F)inal update.
