  • The program will display an error message when an existing record is updated or a new record is created, and the period of Membership (Specified by Date Joined and Resignation Date) is after the Inactive Date of the Fund {FPRG-3}.
  • If the Fund does not have an Inactive Date, it will be considered to be always Active.
Date Joined (DD-MON-YYYY) The date on which the person first contributed to this pension fund. (This could be prior to his / her employment at this institution). This field defaults to the person's appointment date but may be changed by the user.

Resignation Date (DD-MON-YYYY) The date of last pension payment, i.e. the date on which this person resigned (will resign) from this fund.
Pension Date (DD-MON-YYYY) This date is calculated by the system as the last day of the month in which the person retires.

Retirement Age for the Institution is entered in the Post Types {PPECS-1}.
The ITS Integrator Payroll System is sensitive to the join and resignation dates, which means that a new personnel member may be entered with a future join date and that an existing member may be given a future resignation date.  This has the major benefit that personnel administration can be handled as the information becomes available, without having to save the information for use at a particular time in the future.
