Grade Codes {PPJC-2}

This option is used to create and maintain Grade Codes.

A Grade is a grouping that encompasses positions with the same or similar values in order to assign compensation rates and structures.
Some examples are Peromnes or the Paterson Grading Systems.

Grades are used in the Post Establishment {PPEO-1} as well as Job Profile Template {PPJO-1}, Job Profile per Post and Grade {PPJO-2}, Job Profile per Person {PPJO-3} and Advert Design {PERC-2}.

Length		 Description
Grade Code A2 Grade Codes used may be Peromnes, Paterson (or similar). This field is mandatory.
Description A30 Will be defined in line with the grading system in use at the institution. (Mandatory).
Inactive Date D11 Inactive date (DD-MMM-YYYY).  Date on which the Grade becomes inactive and may no longer be used.
