Assessment Detail   {QMNCS-2}

This option allows the user to define an Assessment code and link the code to questionnaires and other information that can be used to control the usage of the assessment code.

The option consists of three blocks. In the first block, the Assessment code is defined: in the second block, the start and end dates of assessment are specified: in the third block, the questionnaires to be used in the assessment are linked to the assessment code.  Note that in order to use the Assessment Code in blocks 2 and 3, the Assessment Code must be created and saved (or committed) in block 1 first.

&
Length
Description
Assessment Code A4 This is the Assessment Code, as defined in Block 1.  A List of Values is available in this field, based on the definition in Block 1.  The description will be displayed automatically once the code has been entered.
Type A2 This field is used to indicate the Person Type to be allowed as respondents for questionnaires of this assessment.  Only values of (S)tudent, (A)lumni, (P)ersonnel, (O)thers, or a(N)onymous are allowed.  Students, Personnel, Alumni and Other types refer to respondents for whom information exists elsewhere on the system: while Anonymous allows respondents, who do not want to divulge their personal information, to take part in the assessment.
Question Set Code A4 This field links the Assessment code, defined in Block 1 of this option, to a question set code, as defined in Block 1 of {QMNCS-3}.  A list of values is available and the description will be displayed automatically when the code is selected.  Note that this is a mandatory field and that only one question set code may be linked per person type to any specific assessment code.
(I)gnore/Weigh A1 This field may be used to indicate whether weighting must be done on responses to the specific question set / person type for this assessment.  For example, one assessment may have two question sets: one filled in by students and one by personnel members.  It may be necessary to weight the responses of the personnel members and not weight the responses of the students, so that the opinions of personnel members count more than the opinions of students.  In such a case, the question set for personnel members will be indicated with a W and the question set for students will have an I in this field.
