Populate Subject Enrolment Information {RPOPS-1} /  {RPMAIN-1-1} 


This report extracts data about actual subject enrolments from the student data (as it is shown in, for example {SSTUDY-21}) and stores it in a separate part of the database reserved for use by the rolling plan subsystem.  Once the data has been written to the rolling plan subsystem, the user may manipulate the data without affecting the student information side.


This report collects data from the academic structure and student registration information for the year selected as input parameter, in order to populate the subject enrolment table for the Rolling Plan subsystem.  Once the data has been extracted, it can be viewed and manipulated in {RPOPS-2}.

The following student registration information is extracted:

Subject code, subject offering type, qualification code, academic year (of registration) and number of students registered .

Note that student registrations are counted, but students who cancelled before the census date of the block for which they were registered will be excluded.

The following subject and qualification information is obtained from the academic structure information:

Qualification type, department of subject, whether the subject is marked as a major subject on the curriculum of the qualification, the SAPSE credit of the subject as on the curriculum, the subject level and the CESM of the subject (the row 2.9 field on Subject Information).

The output of this report only gives the number of records that were updated or inserted by the program.  The information generated by the option can be viewed in option {RPOPS-2}.
