Details of Registration / Results of a Student {SSTUDY-21}

This option allows for on-line queries on student records, and has been designed as a powerful and flexible facility to run a variety of queries.

Extracting information from the student record system.

• EP Menu - A variety of single menu options can be linked under the EP Menu for query purposes. 
• Search - A search for a student number by using either the 'surname' or the 'student number'.
• Search Results - Results of the queried student.
• EP Form - Results of the single menu options selection under the EP Menu will be displayed.

View	Button	Statuses are linked to the student on either {FSAO-12}, {FBLO-14}, {SREGL-2} and {STWEBM-9}. Indication if a student has statuses linked: If a student is linked to a status that do not needs to be acknowledged a 'blue icon' will be displayed next to the Student's name. If a student is linked to at least one or more statuses that needs to be acknowledged a 'yellow triangle' will be displayed next to the Student's name.  These statuses needs to be acknowledged before the students can exit.. When validation AV / SM {SMNT-1} is set to 'Y': all the status codes from different systems that has been linked to a student will be displayed. When validation AV / SM {SMNT-1} is set to 'N': only the status codes linked to the relevant program in {SCODE1-2} will be displayed. Refer to Override of Student Statuses for more information. • Query Student Qualification Information:

• If a student record was queried in the 'Search' panel box, the students 'qualification' detail will be displayed in reverse chronological order.  If a student was not queried in the 'Search' panel box any query can be done on the 'Search Qualification' panel box by entering search data in the available fields.
• If a students record was queried in the 'Search' panel box, the students 'qualification' detail will be displayed in reverse chronological order but:
• the user can do a search for another 'student'  or 'qualification or year combination' using the 'Search Qualification' panel box. To move back to the original queried student's data the user needs to click on the 'Refresh' button.

• Query Student Subject Information:

Note:  The Annual Result will not be displayed when the suppress indicator is 'Y' on {SSTUDY-1} for cycle 'E' and the SOD value is (Y)es for subsystem 'SR', Code 'AE' {SMNT-12}.

To preclude the disclosure of examination results via this option before they are formally published, the system will not display any results for the current “Exam Mark” cycles ‘E’ and “Change Mark and Results Cycle” ‘F’ which have been set to “SUPPRESS”, as defined under option {SSTUDY-1}, TAB - Academic Structure and Exams and where the SOD value is (Y)es for subsystem 'SR', Code 'AE' {SMNT-12}.  If the value for the SOD is set to (N), the subject results will be displayed, but no qualification results.  The current cycles are displayed in the 'Suppressed Cycles' of this screen and examination marks, final marks and final results will not be displayed for subjects that have examinations within these examination months.

Subject records exist for each year and subject that a student was registered for at the institution and these records can be queried on this screen.

• If a student record was queried in the 'Search' panel box, the students 'subject' detail will be displayed from {SSTUDA-2} in reverse chronological order.  If a student was not queried in the 'Search' panel box any query can be done on the 'Search Subject' panel box by entering search data in the available fields.
• If a students record was queried in the 'Search' panel box, the students 'subject' detail will be displayed in reverse chronological order but:
• the user can do a search for another student / subject or year combination' using the 'Search Subject' panel box.  This queried data will then be displayed in the Subjects'' panel box. To move back to the original queried student's data the user needs to click on the 'Refresh' button.
  

NOTE: As a general query on this block would retrieve every subject enrolment record in the database thousands of records would, have to be sorted and displayed. This can place huge demands on the system and decrease the response times for all users. The user is therefore required to enter the Subject Code, Year or Student number, for a query to be accurate.
